Clean Up Day
Saturday, May 8, 2010 8am to 12pm.
The 2010 Metamora Clean Up Day is when facilities will be available on the
Township property for the disposal of old tires, refrigerators and similar
items. As before, this service will be free.
We will also have a shredding company here from 8:00am to 11:00 am to shred all of you personal papers.

Recycling Program 2010
If you are a resident of Metamora you may come to the Township Offices and sign
up for our Recycling Program. We will issue you an I.D. card and a list of items
that may be recycled. You may take your items to the Lapeer Cinemas (back lot)
1650 Demille Road, Lapeer on the First Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to
Noon. You must pick up your township I.D. card before you can drop off your
recycling. This is free to all Metamora Residents. November & December 2010 collections may be canceled.

Burning Permits
If you need a burning permit please contact the Metamora Township Fire
Department at 810-678-2255 Monday thru Friday 8:30 – 4:30pm.

The Village will be alive with much activity. Parade, crafts,
food, music, demonstrations, hot air balloons and fireworks - and much more.
