Where Can I Register to Vote?

  • At any of the Michigan Secretary of State branch offices
  • At your local township clerk’s office or your county clerk’s office
  • At any state agency that provides public assistance or services to people with disabilities
  • Through a voter registration drive
  • By mailing in a completed voter registration application postmarked at least 15 days before the election


Within 14 days of an election all registration applications must be submitted to the local
clerk’s office in person.

How to Return My Absentee Ballot?

  • Bring your ballot in person to the township hall during office hours. (Mon – Thurs 9 a.m.-5p.m.)
  • Drop it off at the Metamora Township office in the ballot drop box located at the front door of the township office building (left hand side of the front door in a blue mailbox) at 730 W. Dryden Road, Metamora, MI 48455.
  • Bring the ballot to your assigned Precinct on Election Day.
  • Return by mail (postage is pre-paid). Please allow 5-7 days for postal delivery.
