2026-2027 BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING
AND TRUTH & TAXATION NOTICE
March 9, 2026
Pursuant to the requirements of Michigan Public Acts Number 43 of the 2nd extra session of 1963, there will be a public hearing held on the 9th day of March, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Metamora Township Hall located at 730 W. Dryden Road, Metamora, MI 48455. The Metamora Township Board will hold the public hearing on the proposed Township, Fire, Police and Building Budgets for fiscal year 2026 - 2027. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the Metamora Township Hall, 730 W. Dryden Road, Metamora, MI 48455.
The Metamora Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 7 days’ notice to the Metamora Township Board.
