Attention Registered Voters

With the recent passage of Proposal 3 in the November 2018 General Election, registered voters can now request an absentee ballot without providing a reason.  Under Michigan Election Law, you are eligible to be placed on the Permanent Absent Voter list.

Benefits of being on the Permanent absent voter list:

  • You will automatically receive an absent voter ballot application  for every election.
  • You will avoid potentially long lines at the polls.
  • You can take your time studing the ballot and vote from home when you are ready.

If you are interested in being a Absentee voter in these coming up elections and if you want to be on our permanent absentee voter list, please fill out the forms below and return to the Metamora Township Clerk's Office, in person or mail @ 730 W. Dryden Road, Metamora MI  48455 or you can email the forms to or .  If you have any questions, please contact the Township Office's at 810-678-2237, Monday thru Thursday 9-5 p.m.

**Must be a registered voter of Michigan.
You cannot be a challenger, candidate, member of a candidate's immediate family, or a member of the local Board of Canvassers.
Anyone convicted of a felony or an election crime may not serve.**
