Planning commission and zoning board of appeals applications are reviewed and issued by the Metamora Township planning and zoning department.

Applicants are welcome and encouraged to meet with the township zoning administrator prior to appearing before the planning commission or zoning board of appeals.

In most cases, a zoning permit must be obtained from the planning & zoning Department prior to the issuance of a building permit. All applications for zoning permits must be accompanied by plans and specifications, including a plot plan drawn to scale.
