Mission Statement

The mission of the Metamora Township Police Department is to protect life and property, uphold the law with integrity, and serve our community with professionalism, competence, and respect. We are committed to community oriented policing, building partnerships within the community, and embracing innovation to meet the evolving needs of those we serve.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Metamora Township Police Department provides law enforcement services to the citizens as well as the visitors of Metamora Township and the Village of Metamora 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. If you need police services outside of normal office hours, please call Lapeer County Central Dispatch at 810-667-0292. The Metamora Township Police Department will be dispatched to calls for service by Lapeer County Central Dispatch.
