As a service to our residents, you can obtain a License to Purchase a Firearm at our office.  You must be a resident of Metamora Township or the Village of Metamora and at least 21 years of age.

A License to Purchase a Firearm can be applied for at the Metamora Township Police Department during normal office hours 8:00am – 4:00pm or by appointment. Please call our office at (810) 678-3657 to confirm availability or to schedule an appointment.
